Minerals for sale

Long time ago I swore this would never happen. I guess that will teach me never to swear! I am parting with specimens from my own collection and offer them for sale on my minerals for sale page. Please note, I only offer good specimens that are part of my collection - this is not a dumping ground for all sorts of inferior duplicates. Feel free to let me know if you need rubbish - I have that too!
Please communicate if you have particular wishes - I am thoroughly reorganizing and will likely have excellent material to offer from practically every field of interest. The page will be updated on an irregular basis, whenever I have time. Please stop by often or let me know, if you wish to be notified when updates are posted. Ideally I will soon be offering some hundred specimens at a time.

Samsonite stolen!

One of the World's finest Samsonite specimens was stolen from the museum in Münster on March 12 2006. This link will lead you to an article from Mineralien Welt 2006/3 describing the stolen specimen, the thief and the theft. Note several other specimens were harmed and the Samsonite may have been damaged too. Samsonite is rare, there is no 'overlooked specimen in the back of a drawer of an old collection.' Please keep an eye out for this specimen and ensure the provenance of any Samsonite offered to you.

Finally!

Finally I have updated my web site. Immediate improvements include:

Links

Some people have asked me to exchange links or update their info. Please contact me again! I lost a lot of e-mails, including my 'what to do about links' folder so if you see this, please be in touch.

June 21-24: Visiting Euro Gem in Ste. Marie-aux-Mines.
November 2-4: Mineralientage München in München.

Orla Hedegaard's site

My father got his own web site recently and you can visit it here. He offers Denmark's widest selection of jewellery, sea shells, minerals, fossils, and stuffed animals. On his web site you may also read about restroration of zoological collections.
